PDO Thread Lift

Polydioxanone (PDO) thread lifts use a biodegradable polyester suture. These injectable threads are best suited for rejuvenating your skin, lifting sagging areas, as well as addressing overall aging. A thread lift can treat most parts of your face that are experiencing signs of aging. The areas around your cheeks, jaw, neck, and eyes are among the most commonly treated areas. A thread lift is one the most effective ways to lift the loose skin without surgery.

What can I expect from the PDO Thread Lift procedure?

A patently-molded PDO thread will be used in a minimally invasive procedure to approximate sagging tissue to achieve your desired look. Minimally Invasive NonSurgical Thread (MINT) is a temporary procedure and will not stop the process of aging, therefore the continuation of MINT is recommended for maintaining the effects. The total procedure time for MINT is typically an hour, however, the procedure could be longer based on the amount of threads used and if the patient desires to treat more than one area. Prior to the procedure the provider will apply a topical numbing cream to reduce the pain and/or discomfort you may feel during the procedure. Post procedure, many patients have reported bleeding, swelling, bruising, and tightness, however these side effects will typically resolve themselves within two weeks.
