What is the treatment time for Dermal Fillers?
The total time for a dermal filler appointment is typically 1 hour, however, contingent upon our practitioner recommendations if the patient is receiving multiple syringes at one time, the appointment may exceed 1 hour. After consultation, we will apply a topical numbing agent to ease discomfort during the treatment, the numbing agent will be applied for 20-30 minutes prior to injection. The actual dermal filler injection typically is completed in 20- 30 minutes.
When will a patient see results from Dermal Fillers?
Immediately following injection of dermal fillers the patient will see results, however, initial swelling will enhance the appearance at the injection site. Swelling is a very common and normal reaction to dermal fillers, most swelling is completely resolved two weeks post injection.
