Reveal Radiant, Smooth Skin

What is Dermaplane?

Dermaplaning is a gentle, non-invasive exfoliation method that uses a sterile, surgical-grade blade to remove the outermost layer of dead skin cells and fine vellus hair (often called “peach fuzz”). The result? A smoother, brighter complexion with improved skin texture and tone.

Because it clears away the surface barrier, dermaplaning is an excellent add-on to Hydrafacial or skin treatments or procedures, it preps the skin for enhanced absorption of active ingredients, gives your treatment deeper penetration, and magnifies results.

How Dermaplaning Works

Cleansing & Prep
We begin by cleansing the skin thoroughly. This removes oils and surface debris, ensuring a clean canvas.

Dermaplaning Stroke
The provider holds the skin taut and, at a shallow angle, gently strokes the blade across the skin’s surface. This removes dead cells and fine hairs without discomfort or downtime.

Soothing & Nourishment
After the dermaplaning, we apply Medical Grade - calming serums, hydrating masks, or other treatment-specific products suited to your skin type and goals.

Optional Follow-On Treatment
Because the skin is freshly exfoliated, many clients choose to layer on treatments like chemical peels, HydraFacial, LED therapy, or other facial services.

Benefits of Dermaplaning

  • Instantly Smoother Skin — Removes surface buildup for a silky finish
  • Improves Texture & Tone — Fades dullness and unevenness
  • Enhanced Product Absorption — Allows serums and treatments to go deeper
  • Makeup Applies More Flawlessly — No micro-hairs interfering with application
  • Safe & Gentle — Minimal risk, no downtime, effective for most skin types

Great Add-On to Other Treatments

Dermaplaning works beautifully as a pre-step to treatments such as:

  • HydraFacial
  • Chemical peels
  • LED light therapy

By removing barrier layers, it allows active ingredients to penetrate more deeply and deliver better results. Many clients find adding dermaplaning to their facial or advanced treatments is one of the best “boosters” they can do.

It can be booked as a stand-alone treatment or added on to other sessions. Adding dermaplaning to a HydraFacial session typically only adds minimal time but yields significant enhancement to the outcome.

Is Dermaplaning Right for You?

You’re a great candidate if you:

  • Want smoother, softer, more radiant skin
  • Are preparing for a peel or active treatment
  • Do not have active acne with pustules, open wounds, or very sensitive/rosacea-prone skin

You may want to avoid dermaplaning if you:

  • Are using retinoids or acids that make skin overly sensitive
  • Have active breakouts, cystic acne, or inflamed lesions
  • Are prone to keloids or extreme skin sensitivity

During your consultation, we’ll assess your skin and recommend whether dermaplaning is safe and beneficial for your goals.
